Karan P. Singh, MD, MBA, FACHE, FACEP

President/CEO

Dr. Singh is responsible for providing executive leadership for our medical group to continue our promise of delivering high quality, patient empowering care. Dr. Singh serves on the board of Riverside County Medical Association and holds teaching academic faculty appointments at Loma Linda School of Medicine and UC Riverside School of Medicine. Dr. Singh is dual Board-certified in Healthcare administration and Emergency Medicine.

Dr. Singh received his medical degree from UCLA School of Medicine as part of the prestigious BS/MD Thomas Haider Program at UCR/UCLA. He completed his MBA in Healthcare Administration and residency in Emergency Medicine at Loma Linda University Health. Dr. Singh completed his post-graduate training in Healthcare Safety, Quality, Informatics and Leadership at Harvard School of Medicine and completed his fellowship in Executive Leadership with Envision Healthcare and Jefferson Hospital System in Philadelphia.

Recently, Dr. Singh was selected to participate in American Hospital Association’s Next Generation Leaders Fellowship with a scholarship sponsorship from John A. Hartford Foundation and Institute for Healthcare Improvement. In 2023, Dr. Singh was awarded the Regent’s Award by ACHE Southern California chapter for his servant leadership and development of innovative and clinical excellence programs in Riverside County.

Erin Noud, DO

Medical Director

Dr. Erin Noud is a distinguished Board-Certified Emergency Medicine Physician that brings a wealth of leadership and clinical expertise to lead the Emergency Department team. Originally from Northern California, she earned her Bachelor of Science degree at UCLA and pursued medical school and residency training at Midwestern University in Chicago. Throughout her training, she gained diverse experience in various settings, from busy urban community hospitals to Level One trauma center at Cook County, Chicago.

Dr. Noud currently serves as the Chief of Emergency Medicine for a hospital in Southern California. She represents the department at the Medical Executive Committee and has developed strong relationships with our medical staff and nursing leadership. Her commitment to education and quality improvement shines through her development of continuous medical education initiatives for students as well as our medical and nursing staff.

Dr. Noud’s comprehensive training, commitment to excellence, and collaborative leadership style make her an invaluable asset for our team.

Zachary McCarty, MD

Associate Medical Director

Dr. Zachary McCarty, MD, is a board-certified Emergency Medicine physician whose leadership is characterized by outstanding interpersonal skills and a meticulous approach to operational oversight. He has cultivated strong relationships with fellow staff members and neighboring hospitals, contributing significantly to our collaborative environment.

Driven by a commitment to efficiency in emergency care, Dr. McCarty is devoted to upholding rigorous quality metrics and improving healthcare accessibility, particularly for underserved populations. As a dedicated and long-term member of the local community, he brings valuable experience and insights to his role.

Dr. McCarty obtained his B.S. in Business Administration from Pacific Union College before pursuing medical education at Loma Linda University. He completed his residency training in Emergency Medicine at Loma Linda University. Beyond his professional commitments, Dr. McCarty enjoys spending quality time with his family, engaging in golf, and savoring outdoor activities during leisure moments.

Brandon McCullough, PA-C

APP Site Director

Mr. McCullough embarked on his distinguished career in healthcare in 2005 as an EMT, and later progressing to a 9-1-1 Paramedic in 2008. During this tenure, he served as a Paramedic Preceptor and Paramedic Skills Instructor at Mt. San Antonio College, accumulating over a decade of invaluable experience in pre-hospital medicine.

In 2018, he embarked on the next phase of his professional journey by enrolling in the Physician Assistant program at Loma Linda University. Mr. McCullough has previously served as the Patient Experience Lead for our emergency medicine team and presently serves as the APP Site Director and PA Student Coordinator. Among his noteworthy achievements is the development and implementation of a New Graduate APP program. This innovative initiative offers newly graduated PAs a structured environment to gain experience and refine their skills, contributing to our group’s mission of recruiting exceptional candidates for our hospital.

Mr. McCullough is the Assistant Pastor at Cross-Walk Fellowship in Upland where he attends church with his wife and four children.

Matthew Hatch, PA-C

Patient Experience Lead

Matthew Hatch, PA-C, is a distinguished Physician Assistant with a master’s degree Loma Linda University, complementing his bachelor’s degree in Emergency Medical Care. Since 2021, he has been an integral part of our team. His dedication to patient care and clinical excellence led to his appointment as the Patient Care Experience Lead, where he oversees patient surveys and medical inquiries, driving continuous quality improvement initiatives. A committed mentor in the our New Grad and FastStart Programs, Matthew trains and precepts new Physician Assistants, playing a pivotal role in their professional development. His outstanding contributions to education and mentorship were recognized in 2023 when he received the Preceptor of the Year award, highlighting his significant impact on both patient care and the advancement of future healthcare professionals.

Estefany Duarte, PA-C

Education Program Lead

Estefany Duarte has been a dedicated member of our team for several years, bringing a wealth of experience and a deep passion for education to her role. In 2019, Ms. Duarte graduated from PA school and pursued a post-graduate emergency medicine fellowship, traveling across the country to gain advanced training. This fellowship ignited her passion for academia and continuing education, inspiring her to share her knowledge and experiences with others. Her commitment to professional growth and excellence led her to obtain a Certificate of Added Qualifications (CAQ) in Emergency Medicine, demonstrating her dedication to the highest standards of patient care.

Ms. Duarte’s enthusiasm for teaching and mentoring has been a driving force in her career. She actively engages in educational initiatives, mentoring new graduates, and contributing to the ongoing development of her peers.  Estefany Duarte’s blend of clinical expertise, educational passion, and leadership aspirations makes her a vital asset to the healthcare community.

Career Pathways: New Graduate Program & FastStart Program:

Seva Medical Group takes pride in fostering future healthcare professionals. All our physicians are board-certified emergency medicine specialists, contributing to the development and implementation of innovative career pathways. These programs include collaborative partnerships with multiple Physician Assistant (PA) schools, medical schools, and graduate residency programs.

In addition, we have pioneered a new graduate program designed to mentor and prepare emerging Physician Assistants in emergency medicine. As part of their program, they will participate in fundamental emergency medicine educational programs like Emergency Medicine BootCamp and have a dedicated preceptor for 3-6 months in our emergency department. These programs show our group’s dedication to nurturing local emerging talent that can be recruited to provide clinical care within our community.
